Keyword: gmapsys ++ Bug-ID: gmapsys.j2201 Short summary: May cause probe file to be deleted Full summary: When running Chempack 4.1 and logged in as "chempack" and creating a new shim map through "gmapsys", the probe file gets deleted if you respond "yes" to writing the new shim map name into the probe file. The problem does not occur if logged in as vnmr1, using the same sequence of events. Automatic generation of probe file backups prior to any changes are highly desirable! Krish: this is related to using the Chempack version of the "setparams" macro - better use the standard version instead. Category: liquids Patch level: 106, 402, CP4.1 2008-08-28 (patched 2008-12-14) Bad versions: VnmrJ 2.2C / RHEL 4.0.3 / DirectDrive/400-MR Fixed version: Reported by: Craig Butts, University of Bristol Date: 2009-04-30 Confirmed by: Krish Krishnamurthy, Eli Lilly & Company Priority: P2 (high) Status: Open Workaround: Do NOT save a gradient map name to the probe file (do this manually later) or run "gmapsys" as vnmr1. Better, deactivate "/vnmr/chempack/maclib/setparams" (rename or delete it): the standard version ("/vnmr/maclib/setparams") is good to use also with Chempack enabled. Severity: 2 (Serious limitation, but workable) |
