5 N5 H4 O/ p7 g8 n2 tDear Sir/Madam,
$ y4 @ b7 B4 y8 k; F0 C% lWe are delighted to invite you to attend the above event, a conference organised by The University of Nottingham. K) w+ @$ V8 b; o+ x9 J
The University is world famous for its role in the development of MRI. This event will highlight the important contributions made by Nobel Prize-winner Sir Peter Mansfield and the Nottingham team, emphasising how advances in MR physics and engineering have revolutionised healthcare. It will also explore cutting-edge MRI research; including ultra-high-field (the Nottingham 7T) and hyperpolarised technologies, including their use in Nottingham for studying respiratory disease.
+ J6 u3 ~& @& w/ oThis event will be led by one of our eminent academics, Professor Peter Morris, the Head of the Magnetic Resonance Centre at The University of Nottingham. In the final section of the lecture, the focus will be on sustainable health and the role of MRI. This will include its use in screening at-risk individuals and in providing individualised treatment. The lecture will conclude by posing the challenge of how to provide this at an affordable cost, and the role China could play in delivery." s. F! V: L" z! D
This conference endeavors to offer opportunities for communication, networking and education, providing a forum for discussion of some critical issues and an opportunity to create new partnerships. To favour an in-depth discussion, the number of participants is limited to 75.; L8 b5 h0 a" I9 \9 ?8 z6 H3 U
We would be very grateful if you could please distribute information on this workshop to your colleagues and collaborators in the areas of MRI and Health who would be interested in attending this conference.
